East Greenwich


East Greenwich is a coastal town, located on the western side of the Narragansett Bay. It is most prominently known for its waterfront, renowned school district, and downtown restaurants & shopping. Many restaurants and bard sit on the waterfront, with ample boat parking at East Greenwich Cove, a public dock, and small beach.


The East Greenwich Public School District is a top-rated and comprised of six public schools. The school district as a whole is currently ranked #2 in the state of Rhode Island, with the East Greenwich High School ranking third in the state.


  • The Greenwich Odeum is a vintage venue showcasing concerts, comedy shows & films in a restored, circa 1926 theater.
  • LineSider Brewing Co. opened to the public in 2018 as Rhode Island’s first brewery. In addition to a tasting room and outdoor courtyard, they frequently have food trucks, live music, and trivia throughout the week.
  • The Varnum Memorial Armory Museum includes examples of weaponry and artifacts dating from colonial America through the 20th century. The impressive brick armory has earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.
  • C & L Stables offers horseback riding for the whole family through the scenic trails of East Greenwich or along the water with bayside and beach rides.
  • The Davis Memorial Wildlife Refuge is a relaxing hike above the gently flowing Hunt River in southern Rhode Island. This property is full of woods and wetlands and includes access points for canoeing and kayaking.
